Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced dynamic Business Development Officer to drive the growth of the company by identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities in the oil and gas sector. The role focuses on promoting the companyโs specialized laboratory services, including fluid analysis, material testing, environmental compliance, and quality assurance testing for upstream, midstream, and downstream clients.
Building and maintaining strong client relationships, preparing technical proposals and bids, negotiating contracts, and achieving service targets. The personnel will collaborate closely with technical teams to align services with client needs and to position the company as a trusted partner in the energy industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in Biding and Tender preparations
- Engage in corporate registration of company with clients. (Vendor Registration)
- To acquire new business from prospective and existing clients.
- Maintain the companyโs existing business networks and introduce new ones
- Closing new business deals and negotiating contracts.
- Prepare and make business presentations on behalf of the company
- Maintain continuous client relationships through client visit and responding to their queries.
- Correspond with internal & external requests from clients
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (essential): In fields such as:
- Business Administration, Marketing, or Sales
- A knowledge of chemistry is an added advantage
- Related technical or scientific disciplines
Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
Professional Experience
Minimum of 3 years in sales, business development, or account management, in the oil and gas sector (e.g., upstream, midstream, downstream, or related services like lab testing.
Experience in technical sales or promoting laboratory/analytical services is a strong advantage.
Proven track record of meeting sales targets, securing contracts, and expanding client portfolios in competitive energy markets.
Key Skills and Competencies
- Industry knowledge: Deep understanding of oil and gas operations, market trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Sales and negotiation skills: Expertise in preparing proposals, bids/tenders, contract negotiation, and closing deals.
- Communication and networking: Excellent presentation skills, ability to build long-term client relationships, and attend industry events (e.g., conferences, trade shows).
- Analytical skills: Market research, competitor analysis, and financial acumen for pricing services.

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced dynamic Technical Assistant to the Managing Director. The candidate will provide high-level technical and administrative support to the Managing Director, ensuring efficient executive operations in a specialized laboratory environment. Key responsibilities include managing the MDโs schedule, coordinating meetings and travel, preparing technical reports, presentations, and briefing materials on lab results, industry trends, and regulatory compliance, including defending laboratory results/data to clients.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Executive administrative support โ Manage the MD’s complex calendar, schedule meetings, arrange travel, and coordinate agendas. Handle correspondence, emails, and phone calls on behalf of the MD, often acting as a gatekeeper.
- Building and maintaining client relationships โ Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts, nurture partnerships with oil and gas companies, EPC firms, and operators, and ensure client satisfaction to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Technical research and analysis โ Prepare technical reports, presentations, and data summaries for the MD (e.g., analyzing lab results, market trends in oil and gas testing, or regulatory updates). Interpret technical data and provide insights to support decision-making.
- Project coordination and oversight โ Assist in managing key projects from the MD’s office, tracking progress, coordinating with technical teams (e.g., lab engineers or R&D), and ensuring timelines and deliverables are met.
- Liaison and communication โ Serve as a point of contact between the MD and internal teams (e.g., lab technicians, business development) or external stakeholders (clients, regulators, partners). Facilitate meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Documentation and reporting โ Draft technical proposals, bids, or compliance documents. Maintain confidential files, organize data, and generate reports on operational performance of the company.
- Meeting preparation and support โ Research and compile briefing materials for board meetings, client presentations, or industry conferences. Attend meetings with the MD to take notes and provide technical input when needed.
- Ad-hoc technical and operational tasks โ Provide hands-on support for technical issues, such as reviewing lab equipment needs, assisting with troubleshooting, or evaluating new testing technologies.
Educational Qualifications
